Hey all, looks like your found your way to the AP Street team page! The Alternative Press Street Team is comprised of 23 cities with plenty of room to grow. We're very selective on who we choose to be a part of each team. Team members are sent to shows in their respective cities to pass out information on AP, they promote online, and they distribute promo materials for upcoming events. They also represent us at each stop of the AP Tour and on the Vans Warped Tour selling subscriptions and shirts, and assisting with band signings. They run their own Facebook pages and Twitter accounts for their individual cities to promote upcoming shows, contests, and exclusive AP information.

Think you want the glamourous job of an AP Street teamer? Well first there are three requirements:
- You must be at least 17 with a very reliable form of transportation.
- You must be able to work in a professional manner.
- Must be outgoing and willing to talk to people.

If you meet these and want to apply, send an e-mail to streetteam@altpress.com with the following information included. Most of our current street teams are full but by sending an e-mail we will put you on a list and contact you if a spot frees up. Also, follow @Altpress and @TheAPTour on Twitter. If spots open up or we need assistance on tours in other cities we will announce this on Twitter:

- A resume.
- Which street team you would like to apply for. Don't see your city listed? Tell us which major city you would like to start a street team in. We're always looking to expand.
- Any promotional/street team work you have done in your past
- Ideas on how you would better the team if you were on it/if you started one in your city.
- Why you would make a great team member
