I realise I’m a hair late to the ball game on liking these guys but the more I play their record the more I like it. RIYL Titus Andronicus, the Beach Boys, Built To Spill, Pavement, Japandroids. Yes. All at the same fucking time. Out of Florida.

This is my first time listening to this band. I like what I’m hearing. I think they sound a little like Panda Bear

Astro Coast is one of my favorite cds. Any songs that youd immediatly reccomend for one to get into Panda Bear

^ My favorite Panda Bear song is Good Girls/Carrots, but really all of Person Pitch is phenomenal. I mostly hear the Panda Bear resemblance in the Surfer Blood’s vocals.

I really like Astro Coast. “Fast Jabroni” and “Swim” have been on repeat all day.

panda bear is pretty much a less interesting animal collective. person pitch is a nice enough album sure, but its really nowhere as consistent, forward thinking, or experimental as merriweather post pavilion or strawberry jam, except for bro’s.

as for surfer blood, they just dont do it for me.
