i love food. it’s that simple. i will eat anything under the sun that isn’t meat.

last night and this morning i ate what i can only assume is an unhealthy amount of fruit tart that my roommate made. i cook all the fucking time and eat cafe yumm! (for those of you not from the OR area, you’re missing out big time). i also make the best burritos on the planet.

let’s eat!

I’m making vegetarian paella tonight for dinner and if it goes well, I might recreate it when I go camping over the fire.

SO DELICIOUS.

I just had my grad party on Saturday, and we have TONS of left over food. I will be eating turkey sandwiches, tuna salad, and cookies [that my sister made] for the next several days.

Now that it’s summer and I have way too much time on my hands (hopefully I get a job soon), I’m going to be cooking way more than I usually do.

I think I’m going to be making a chocolate chip cookie dough cheesecake tomorrow. It’s one of the greatest things ever.

I still believe in the sound
That has the power to raise a temple, and tear it down
I still believe in the need
For guitars and drums and desperate poetry

I still believe that everyone
Can find a song for every time they’ve lost, and every time they’ve won
So just remember folks we’re not just saving lives, we’re saving souls and we’re having fun.

I just made a ton of Spanish food, plus a little tinto de verano, with some friends in celebration of the World Cup game.

I just spent 5 hours on a huge statistics project, and now I have to study Biology until I pass out. I had some chicken tortilla soup (from a can), and some tuna w/ hot sauce (from a pouch) in the 30 minute break in between. Was delicious.

OMG YES. This is my second favorite kind of cheesecake.

This is my first:

Magnolia’s bakery mini red velvet cheesecakes. I swear to god if you live in New York and don’t go there once a week you don’t deserve to live there.

Last time I was there I went every night.

So, my grandmother came over here to cook today because my mom (long story short) had to get “one of her shots”.
And my grandmother is making a huge pot of chicken and dumplings, with peach cobbler for dessert.
Yummy.
Plus, she made buttermilk buscuits this morning.

Man, It’s going to be a good day.

I want shots… of whiskey.

Speaking of which, wheat grass and whiskey DO NOT MIX. If you live in Boulder or SF you might know what I’m talking about :D

My Grandma bought me a new vegetarian cookbook and my family is willing to try the things I make. So far, I’m 4 for 4.

Oh my god, this thread is making me hungry.  I’m trying to diet a little bit but I’m craving one of these so bad:

Oreo truffles.  I want t make them just so I can have one… but then I’d have another 30-some leftover with no one else to eat them but me.
