1. St. Vincent teamed up with Ernie Ball for an awesome line of signature guitars.
The electric guitar was signed by St. Vincent herself, and she’s seen on the cover of Guitar World holding Polaris White model. Check it out:
Grammy winner St. Vincent’s guitars will go up for pre-order March 3 in four colors: Stealth Black, Tobacco Burst, Heritage Red and Polaris White.
2. Tattoo artists have been unveiled for Travis Barker’s MUSINK convention, which will feature three-days of tattoos, cars and concerts.
The convention will feature performances from the Used, NOFX, Bad Religion, Pennywise and more. It’ll take place on March 17, 18 and 19 in Costa Mesa, California.

3. During his Reddit AMA, Jeff Rosenstock unveiled his video for “Pash Rash.”
“Pash Rash” comes from Rosenstock’s new album, Worry.
Rosenstock’s tour with the Menzingers and Rozwell Kid starts Feb. 28.
4. Ahead of their 10 year anniversary tour supporting On Frail Wings of Vanity and Wax, Alesana announced the second edition of short novel Annabel.
The story is based around the band’s three concept albums The Emptiness, A Place Where The Sun Is Silent and Confessions.
The short novel originally released in August 2016 and immediately sold all of its copies out.

5. Frank Carter and the Rattlesnakes released their album, Modern Ruin, last Friday, Jan. 20. To celebrate, the band announced two more U.S. shows.

6. One of January’s 12 Bands You Need To Know, Harsh Crowd debuted their politically-charged “Clowns” video, emphasizing that in these troubled times the young have a voice and shouldn’t feel defeated.
7. Equal Vision Records’ Stolas announced their label debut album, alongside a headlining tour.
The self-titled full-length will release March 17. Support on the forthcoming tour will come from Mylets and Icarus The Owl.

8. D.C. hardcore punk band SCREAM issued a Donald Trump protest video on Inauguration Day called “Politics Is Entertainment.”

9. Something More—a pop-punk band from Baltimore, Maryland—announced a headlining tour with Centerfold and Chris Swartz.
10. Envy On The Coast announced some more shows, continuing their Reincarnation tour from August 2016.

11. Hip-hop artist and poet Watsky released a video with NPR for “Stick To Your Guns.”
In the video, a boy recites a story to sheep. Sounds like a cartoon, right? Wrong. It actually makes a statement on the issue of violence and mass shootings.
To NPR, Watsky says:
”I was immediately drawn to the contrast between the stark nature of the lyrics and the very pleasant quality of the music, so I figured the video could similarly take an allegorical approach to some of the more serious themes that the song explores. It is a fable about a shepherd who raises his sheep with violence and accidentally starts a vicious cycle within the herd. It's a seemingly straightforward idea that we tried to present in a colorful and hopefully unexpected way.”
12. The Shorty Awards, which honors the best of social media, announced its 2017 nominees via the Hollywood Reporter.
After a huge 2016 for both bands, the 1975 and Twenty One Pilots are up for music.

13. Stereo Off—an indie rock electro mashup band—premiered a new song for “Venir.”

14. Youth In Revolt dropped a new single from their upcoming full-length debut, which now has a release of Feb. 17.

15. Indie music festival Savannah Stopover announced its full lineup this week, which features Julien Baker.
