Copper Lung plans Oceans release

Copper Lung has unveiled plans to release Nothing Collapses, the debut full-length from Chicago post-rockers Oceans in early 2009. The band claims influences as disparate as the Ghost, Explosions In The Sky, the Lawrence Arms, Mineral, Slint and Don Caballero. It’ll be the label’s first official full-length release.

New God Forbid song available via registration

God Forbid has made a new song available for download. However, it can only be required via registration with the band’s Ning page. It comes from the long-awaited Earthsblood, due out February 24, 2009 on Century Media and following up 2005’s IV: Constitution Of Treason.
