Billie Eilish, Radiohead’s Jonny Greenwood, more receive Oscar nominations
Beyoncé and Eilish are both up for Best Original Song, with Beyoncé recognized for “Be Alive” from King Richard and Eilish getting a nomination for “No Time to Die” from the latest James Bond flick. It's the first time both artists have received Oscar nominations.
Greenwood has received his second nomination for Best Original Score for The Power of the Dog. He was previously nominated in the same category for 2017's Phantom Thread. Questlove's Summer of Soul was nominated for Best Documentary Feature.
After much speculation about a potential Best Picture nomination for Spider-Man: No Way Home, the film didn't make the cut – at least for that category. Instead, it was nominated for Best Visual Effects.
Dune racked up a plethora of nominations including Best Picture. It also received nods for everything from costume design and hair and makeup to cinematography. In addition, Hans Zimmer was nominated for Best Original Score for his work on the film.
