28 Misfits covers that totally rock our world

We are less than two weeks away from the inaugural APMAs, and I gotta be honest: One of the performers I am most stoked on is MISFITS. I have no idea what they are going to play, nor do I plan on asking in advance. (I mean, do you wanna try telling Jerry Only what to do?) What I do know is is the catalog of these legendary horror-punk mavericks runs incredibly deep, and has influenced thousands of bands all over the world. Any good touring band likely has a ’fits cover or two in their back pocket to employ during an especially raucous set or unplanned encore, and some have even dropped coin in a recording studio to make ’em sound good (in many cases, better than the actual source material, at least sonically). Anyone who denies the impact the Misfits have had on not only punk but rock ’n’ roll in general, simply doesn’t pay attention.
