'Deadpool' star confirms film's R rating
Despite leading fans to believe that the film would be given a PG-13 rating, Deadpool star Ryan Reynolds has confirmed that it will indeed be rated R, (via IGN).
Early yesterday (April 1), Reynolds took to Twitter to “solidify” the movie's supposed PG-13 rating: “A PG-13 #deadpool will still have 4th wall breaking, a shit-ton of action and at least 3 chimichangas. Zero need to panic. I promise.”
Late yesterday, an exclusive announcement was ran through JoBlo Movie Trailers that not only confirmed the film's R rating, but also boasted the first footage of Ryan Reynolds in full costume as Deadpool. Check out the entertaining clip below!
Deadpool is scheduled for a February 12, 2016 release.
