Netflix is canceling ‘Chilling Adventures Of Sabrina’ after season 4
It looks like we are saying goodbye to another Riverdale spinoff series. Last week, we learned that Katy Keene has been canceled after one season. Now, Netflix has announced that the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina is also being canceled.
The show’s part four will air on the streaming service later this year.

Sabrina originally aired on The CW alongside Riverdale before it moved to Netflix with a two-season, 20 episode order. Now, it looks like Netflix has decided to cancel the show altogether.
“Working on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina has been an incredible honor from day one,” showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa says. “The cast, beginning with Kiernan as everyone’s favorite teen witch, has been an absolute joy. I am beyond thankful to the crew, writers, editors, assistants, and everyone for pouring so much love into this dark dream of a show. I’m also grateful to our partners at Netflix, Warner Bros., Berlanti Television and Archie Comics for letting us tell the story we wanted to tell, the way we wanted to tell it. We can’t wait for everyone to see part four.”
Netflix doesn’t release viewership information. So, the official reason for the show’s cancelation is not known at this time. Sabrina‘s first “part” is the most favorable among fans and critics according to Rotten Tomatoes. It has an 80 percent audience score and a 90 percent score among critics. However, the show’s later “parts” scored lower. After its first three parts, the audience score dropped to 69 percent.

Sabrina‘s last eight episodes are airing in late 2020. The final episodes will explore what happens when The Eldritch Terrors descend into Greendale. Although both Katy Keene and Sabrina are being canceled, Riverdale is renewed for a new season on The CW.
Diehard Sabrina fans are shocked and sad to hear that the Netflix series is coming to an end.
