“Reasons To Live” is a spirited pop-punk anthem that focuses on what it means to fall apart before putting yourself back together with the help of those around you. In the beginning, Heather Baron-Gracie‘s slick vocals fit perfectly between the pulsing guitar and percussion. During the chorus, each element erupts with energy.
Baron-Gracie shared the inspiration behind the song in a press release.
“‘Reasons To Live’ is about a time when I felt truly drained and incapable of happiness,” she says. “Then I found someone who showed me a reason to live.”
On June 11, Pale Waves will set out on a run supporting 5 Seconds Of Summer on their U.S. tour this summer. Additionally, the band will appear at several international festivals and solo dates. Make sure to grab tickets here.
