3. Inklings have released their debut video for “Let It Out!”

The new project from Fearless Vampire Killers frontman Kier Kemp has released their first video ever from their debut song.

Inklings are an alternative duo out of the UK, featuring Kemp and guitarist/keyboardist Michael Lane.

“We wanted to put across the pressure that builds when you don't let out your feelings,” says Kemp in regards to the video. “So a passive-aggressive couple living together but never really communicating seemed to be the obvious choice, as it's a familiar situation to most people. The idea of picking out items in striking red then having them break as the relationship does, that was as much for the visual as anything else. Everyone likes to see things explode.”

He went on: “Our biggest challenge was actually trying to get what we wanted to say across in the time we had. When making music videos, it's important to ask yourself what you're really trying to say at the core of it. Luckily we had the help of Nari and Tracy, our actors (and friends), who, having worked in and around the stage for some time, brought some great experience to the table. The song was actually originally written about a friendship of mine not a romantic relationship, but that wouldn't have made for such a good video, me frolicking in the fields of Suffolk…”

Have a gander at the new video from Inklings, and keep an eye out for them in the future!
