In an interview with Rock Cellar Magazine, frontman Corey Taylor reveals some details about the highly anticipated album.

“We are doing a song a day, and we’ve already done nine songs. We're about halfway done,” reveals Taylor.

It's hard not to get excited when you hear how excited and proud Taylor is of their work. He continues to mention how the album is being recorded live.

“It is awesome, it is amazing and people are going to lose their minds when they hear it,” says Taylor.

Loudwire spoke with Stone Sour's drummer Roy Mayorga in November about the new album.

“Honestly, it hasn’t really been a thought out process on what we’re going to come out with and what we’re going to sound like, but it has just come together very organic, very naturally. It’s not like this or like that, it’s a whole new animal now,” says Mayorga.

Stone Sour recently released a special ten-year anniversary edition of Come What(ever) May in December that contained rare recordings and b-sides. The band is also hitting several different festivals this Summer including Rock Fest, Rock USA and Chicago Open Air.
