Former neon pop-punks Cash Cash allegedly assaulted minutes before show
Cash Cash member Jean Paul Makhlouf is claiming to have been physically assaulted by rapper Tyga’s team.
The band sent out two tweets Saturday, alleging the assault. “Last night JP was violently physically assaulted by @tyga 's team mins before our set,” reads the first tweet. “Thank u to everyone who helped out. JP is recovering.”

They added, “We are extremely bummed we couldn't play for our fans and were completely disrespected by @tyga and his team. More on this coming soon…”
Those were followed by a picture of Makhlouf’s facial wounds, with the caption, “Videos are coming so you can see how barbaric and uncivilized some people can be…”

“Jean Paul Makhlouf suffered a concussion, injured kidney, alongside bruises to his head and body following the scuffle,” a representative for Cash Cash reportedly told Page Six.
“One member of Tyga’s touring crew hit Jean Paul in the face following a verbal altercation when Tyga’s crew refused to leave the stage after the promoter called Cash Cash to start their already-delayed set.”
