Have Mercy cover Jackson Browne’s “Somebody’s Baby”—stream
Baltimore indie rockers Have Mercy are teaming up with AP to bring you their cover of Jackson Browne’s classic song, “Somebody’s Baby.” The track is taken from the band’s upcoming split with Somos, which will be released February 24 via No Sleep Records. Pre-orders are on sale now. Check it out, and let us know your thoughts.
“When we were approached about doing the split with Somos we were immediately down,” says Have Mercy vocalist/guitarist Brian Swindle. “We were just about to release our 2nd LP, A Place Of Our Own, so we knew we didn't want to put out anymore newer songs that soon after. We decided to record a cover of “Somebody's Baby” by Jackson Browne because it was the only one we could agree on and we all love that song.”
Have Mercy/Somos split tracklisting:
1. Have Mercy – Two Years (Acoustic at the Nile Theater)
2. Have Mercy – Somebody’s Baby (Jackson Browne cover)
3. Somos – Streets Upon Streets
4. Somos – Domestic (Acoustic)
