Indie pop singer/songwriter Ingrid Michaelson let her followers know that she's planning to release an entire album inspired by Netflix’s hit show.

In an interview with Billboard, she revealed that she plans on calling the album Stranger Songs with a release coinciding with season 3 of Stranger Things.

While we don’t have a release date for the new season, we do know that the show is supposed to start filming sometime in March or April, thanks to our favorite chief of police David Harbour.

When asked why she decided to create an album inspired by the show, Michaelson told Billboard: “Finding your connection to another’s art isn’t something I’ve ever built a record on, but I feel so inspired by the world Stranger Things has created.”

It seems like we’re not the only ones totally freaking out about this new album. Some of the cast members are just as excited about the album.

If there wasn’t already enough hype about the new season of Stranger Things, this announcement just made things so much better.
