Can't Swim share previously unreleased 'Fail You Again' song—listen

Can’t Swim released their stellar debut album earlier this year, and they’re back with a new song, “God Awful,” that didn’t make the record, but they’ve been wanting to share for months.

“‘God Awful’ was recorded when we were doing the sessions for Fail You Again,” Chris LoPorto tells New Noise. “For one reason or another we decided not to put it on the album. In the last few months, it’s kinda just lived in our emails being played once in a while on shuffle.

“As time went on, we started kicking ourselves for cutting it and missed playing it at practice. Luckily, the label felt the same way and wanted to release it.”

LoPorto explains that this song is much different lyrically than anything they’ve released before. Not to mention, he’s “looking forward to singing it every night now that it’s out,” meaning we will likely be hearing a lot of “God Awful” on their tour with Have Mercy, Boston Manor and A Will Away this fall.
