A Day To Remember may not have their entire new record You’re Welcome coming out for a foreseeable future, but they’re delivering on their promise for new music with "Mindreader."

Following “Degenerates” and “Resentment,” the band are revealing the new track alongside a sweet music video which sees them getting animated while a guy goes through a battle with a psychic.

Earlier in the week, we got confirmation that new music would be arriving before the album drop following a vague teaser posted last week.

They posted a Zoom call between all of the members saying the cover art and release date are still not finalized but new music will be here soon.

Now, the band spent their day prior to the video's premiere hyping up the new song.

A Day To Remember sent a text message to everyone who signed up for the mailing list on the morning of April 14.

"It's time to predict your future...Your fortune says A Day To Remember will premiere the 'Mindreader' music video tonight at midnight (EST)! Live chat with the band and watch the premiere at https://m.community.com/c4Kgk3gZhntverC ?"

They started by sharing some footage of their favorite moments from their "Degenerates Tour" followed by a short snippet of the music video.

While ADTR’s new animated clip comes amid a trend in fan participation and illustrated videos, frontman Jeremy McKinnon reveals the band had it completed for some time.

“We’ve had this video done for some time now, and seeing as how our album isn’t out yet and the state of the world is keeping us off the road, we wanted to get some new material out there for our fans as soon as possible,” he shares.
“This song was one of my personal favorites off the new album from the day it was written,” the vocalist continues. “I wrote it with the incredibly talented Mike Green. Fun fact, it was the first song I’ve ever sent the guys in the band that was unanimously loved. This song was written to be a lighthearted take on people in relationships expecting their partners to read their minds.”

"Mindreader" is finally here for fans to feast their eyes on. You can check out the new music video in the player below.

The band  announced their upcoming album You’re Welcome back in August, around the time they revealed their first song in three years “Degenerates.”

The release date was originally set for November 15 but was delayed a week before on November 8. Shortly after, guitarist Kevin Skaff said the reason for the album delay was so they could get every aspect of the LP perfect.

“It got pushed back because the art for the record isn’t done yet,” Skaff says. “We still can’t find a good cover for the record. I know it doesn’t really matter nowadays, with streaming and everything, but we just want everything to be perfect before it comes out.”

“And there are still a couple of songs that are still getting mixed that we just need to find the right mixer. It’s only getting pushed back -what?- two, two and a half months, so it’s not too bad. It’s not like a Kanye [West] thing where it’s never gonna come out.”
