Good news Marvel fans, a new TV show is in the works.

It was recently announced that the 2018-19 broadcast season schedule for the network wouldn’t include a single Marvel program.

With Agent Carter and Inhumans cancelled from the network and Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. not returning until next summer, the network is without a Marvel-themed program for the first time since Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. debuted.

In a new interview with Deadline, ABC Entertainment president Channing Dungey shared that the network is prepping for a new program to eventually fill in the spot of the since-cancelled programs.

“In terms of Marvel, we have some things that we are in discussions with them right now that we are in development,” Dungey told Deadline.

Of course, like with most Marvel things, she didn’t specify what exactly that new show was, but we do know that she’s “very excited about it”

While we’re not entirely sure what that new Marvel series is, we’re pretty excited to see what’s to come, especially when it comes to the Avengers.

The Marvel Cinematic Universe threw us for a loop when we saw the end of Avengers: Infinity War and it appears that the new film will be even more shocking than third (how is that even possible?!)

In a recent interview with Esquire, Chris Hemsworth, who plays Thor in the franchise, shared that fans should expect even more shocking twists and turns in the forthcoming Avengers 4 film.

“If you were shocked by [Infinity War], I think the second one is even more shocking, for other reasons entirely.”

We don’t know what Hemsworth means, but we’re so ready to find out.

Additionally, it was reported that Marvel Studios head Kevin Feige revealed that the universe will be getting its first openly LGBTQ characters. We don’t have many details about who these characters will be, but we do know that it will be “both ones you’ve seen and ones you haven’t seen.”
