Aaron Gillespie to remain with Paramore for North American tour
Aaron Gillespie, former drummer of Underoath and current frontman of The Almost, will remain Paramore's fill-in drummer for the group's upcoming arena tour, The Self-Titled Tour, of North America.
Gillespie just concluded a run with the band in Europe, for which he was brought in last minute following an injury to touring drummer Miles McPherson. McPherson has not yet healed to the point where he can rejoin the group on the road.
The Self-Titled Tour will kick off Oct. 15 in Seattle, and tours of Australia and New Zealand will follow shortly after, before Paramore sets sail for a sponsored cruise to the Bahamas. Gillespie's involvement beyond the North American tour has not yet been determined.
