Abuse allegations made against Kississippi drummer—UPDATED

Kississippi have taken to their social media to share an updated statement regarding the abuse allegations against their touring drummer, Jeremy Probst. The type of abuse mentioned in the article below has since been clarified as emotional abuse. According to various Twitter threads, the accuser’s experience started when the drummer was a teenager. Kississippi’s drummer, Jeremy Probst, has been accused of abuse. The band took to Facebook to share the allegations with fans and assure listeners that they are attempting to handle the situation responsibly.

However, it has not been made clear what type of abuse Probst has been accused of according to the Facebook post. Zoë Allaire Reynolds has plans to update fans with a clearer statement as soon as possible.

“This band does not stand for abuse,” Reynolds says. “I am doing what I can do to responsibly handle allegations against our drummer, Jeremy. I am so sorry and heartbroken.”

“This project has been an outlet for my own trauma and is meant to be a loving and safe place for all of our listeners and fans,” Reynolds continues. “I was made aware about two hours ago while loading out of a show.”

Reynolds continues to be transparent with fans, saying that on top of the new allegations, they have been dealing with a serious family emergency. Reynolds asks fans to give them time to process the situation properly.

“I am taking this very seriously and there is a lot going on at once,” Reynolds says. “Please know that I am doing my best.”
