See DC Shoes’ new AC/DC collab celebrating their classic albums

Skate brands have a long history of teaming up for epic collabs, and DC Shoes is adding another one to their resume with AC/DC. The new line celebrates two of their standout albums, Highway To Hell and Back In Black.

With 1979’s Highway To Hell just celebrating 40 years and 1980’s Back In Black approaching the same milestone in 2020, the new collection of apparel and shoes serves as a perfect tribute.

AC/DC and skateboarding have quite the crossover with some of the earliest skate videos featuring the band’s instantly recognizable riffs. They also continued their undeniable influence by appearing in Tony Hawk’s Pro Skater 4. The 2002 entry in the video game franchise utilized their hit “T.N.T” in the opening sequence.

Now, AC/DC is teaming up with the skate world yet again. The new DC Shoes collab features footwear ranging from $55 to $75 and accessories and apparel that run from $25 to $75. It will be available beginning Nov. 7.

The shoes come in several different silhouettes and design options. Among them are the Court Graffik in black with the band’s logo around the heel and the Slip-On with the band’s Highway To Hell cover across the shoe’s front. Both can be seen below.

For tops, the new collection includes long and short sleeves options. There’s also a hoodie and distressed tee. With accessories, the line has two logo-adorned items: A black beanie and all-black cap.

DC X AC/DC drops Nov. 7 on the DC Shoes website as well as select retailers. The line arrives just ahead of the band’s new album, Power Up. Featuring latest single “Shot In The Dark,” the record is out Nov. 13 and can be preordered here.
