That’s right, the geometrically framed new image appears to a feature a “cut-out” silhouette of Havok rank and file among his bandmates. And the context of the pic is sending AFI fans into a frenzy of speculation about what may be on the horizon.

What does it all mean? Is this some sort of hint that the longtime AFI founder is actually leaving the band? We’d say that seems doubtful, but certainly some new song or release could be on the way, based on the strange pic’s promotional qualities. What do you think? Will AFI drop a new tune or album soon?

AFI’s latest LP was their 2017 self-titled effort, also know as The Blood Album. And it was the tenth album from the influential group that formed all the way back in 1991 and went on to release fan-favorite albums such as Black Sails In The Sunset, Sing The Sorrow and Decemberunderground. (And, of course, Mr. Havok’s also dabbled artistically in various musical acts ranging from the subversive Blaqk Audio, aggressive XTRMST and new-wave, No Doubt-member team-up, DREAMCAR.)

So, will we hear some exciting new AFI news soon? Is Davey Havok just, like, disappearing from a family photo like Marty’s brother did in Back To The Future? Sound off in the comments section, below, and let us know your take on the cryptic tease!
