American Horror Story is a cultural phenomenon. It is a great series. It doesn't matter which season is your favorite, it will go down in history as one of television's greatest franchises.

Deadpool is very much the same way. The cult icon turned blockbuster comedy superstar isn't always attempting to break the meta and mess with people, however.

The newest season of American Horror Story, American Horror Story: 1984 aired on FX last night.

The newest AHS iteration sends the cast to one spooky summer camp they'll never forget. It looks to be very promising. So what's the problem and how does Deadpool fit into it?

Well, FX was showing Deadpool up until the premiere of the new AHS season. And, the film ran over its slotted time. Oh no! The horror!

The only thing scarier than what will actually happen in the horror series, is it starting 10 minutes later than normal. We all love Deadpool and we all love American Horror Story so cook up another batch of popcorn and enjoy the end of the film. We all know that we eat all the snacks before what we actually want to watch starts anyway.

On the other hand, FX being the major network that it is should be a little more stringent with its scheduling, especially the night of a major premiere.

All is right with the world however because 1984 did air and its rating are incredibly high on Rotten Tomatoes. Are they higher than Deadpool's? Well, yes for now. So it looks like American Horror Story: 1984 got the last laugh.
