Album Premiere: The Venetia Fair, 'Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We've Got In Our Brain'
The title of The Venetia Fair's new Kickstarter-funded album, Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We've Got In Our Brain, speaks for itself as it showcases the band's signature maniacal spin on the modern cabaret-rock sound.
“After our kickstarter campaign raised more than twice what we were asking for, we knew we had to deliver the biggest album of all time or we would be complete and total failures and disappointments to the only people who gave a shit about us,” the band told AltPress. “So we teamed up with Steve Sopchak at The Square Studio and we blasted out 13 of the best songs we've ever made. Every song is layered with live horns, strings, extra percussion – it's just a big, ugly beast of an album and we couldn't be happier with it. We're very excited that AltPress is streaming the whole thing so people can finally hear Every Sick, Disgusting Thought We've Got In Our Brain.”
