In celebration of the life and work of their bassist Tim Feerick, who tragically passed away April 13, Alternative Press is honored to present Dance Gavin Dance as one of its May cover stars.

The world-exclusive cover story serves as both a deep dive into the band's upcoming 10th full-length, Jackpot Juicer, as well as a celebration of Feerick. Our interview — conducted both before and after the tragic events of April 13 — marks the first time the band have publicly spoken about their friend and what he meant to them, their experience onstage at a highly emotional Swanfest in their hometown of Sacramento, California last weekend, as well as the personal and creative journey behind their forthcoming record.
