supernatural season 15

Which ‘Supernatural’ character are you based on your music taste?

A tale about the adventures of two monster-hunting brothers, Supernatural has joined the ranks of a cult classic. The CW show is in its 15th and final season, making it one of the longest-running series in television history.

For those of you who aren’t dedicated stans, the show follows brothers Dean and Sam Winchester. The duo cross the country hunting monsters, battling demons and debating the merits of classic rock. Though there are dedicated “Dean girls” and “Sam girls,” the show has given viewers several solid supporting characters, many of whom have their own dedicated fanbase.

The show has also included many iconic rock songs in its soundtrack. KansasCarry On Wayward Son, AC/DC’s “Thunderstruck” and Blue Oyster Cult’s “Burnin’ For Youare some of the most notable. Each season gives fans more mayhem and more music to listen to, and season 15 has been no exception.

However, due to the coronavirus pandemic, production on the show’s final season has been paused. As you binge-watch seasons 1 through 14 in anticipation of the show’s return, find out which member of the Winchester gang you are based on your music taste.

More on Supernatural

Supernatural’s final season premiered in October 2019. It saw the Winchesters dealing with the aftermath of their showdown with Chuck/God and the death of Jack. At first, the brothers and their constant companion Castiel were trapped in a mausoleum as angry spirits closed in. After escaping, the group has had to deal with a town consumed by ghosts, the loss of one of their best allies, the reaper Billie, who has her own mysterious plan, and a weak but still vengeful Chuck.

Though the series finale was originally set to air in mid-May, production was shut down due to the coronavirus. The sudden pause left fans wondering what happens after an epic episode 13. Here, Castiel discovered that Jack’s soul had been restored after his trip to the Garden of Eden to find the Occultum.

However, that hasn’t stopped fans from creating their own theories on how The CW’s most beloved show comes to an end. While some fans think the Winchester brothers will die for real this time, others think it’s Chuck/God who will meet his (ahem) maker. Yet, there are even crazier rumors of how the show will wrap up, with one fan thinking Jack will replace Chuck as God and another who thinks someone will kill the yellow-eyed demon Azazel, thus preventing John Winchester—and by extension, Sam and Dean—from even starting to hunt in the first place.

No matter how the show ends, die-hard fans will miss watching the Winchesters battle evil each week. However, seasons 1 through 14 are on Netflix to watch over and over again. The final episodes of season 15 are due to return this fall, and as showrunner Andrew Dabb says, Supernatural’s ending “makes sense to us, emotionally.

“Tears and high amounts of alcohol consumption. That’s what we’re going for. And hopefully, some humor, along the way.”
