Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you’ve probably seen the viral “Mr. Sandman” Cat TikTok videos spamming your timelines. The video sparked an outpour of parody videos, the most recent coming from our very own Panic! At The Disco.
According to BuzzFeed, the trend started with 17-year-old Jade Taylor-Ryan and her cat Ed. Her 12-second video is set to the 1954 song “Mr. Sandman” and features nine wonderful frames of Ed clapping, twirling and peering into her phone’s camera.
The video quickly went viral across multiple social media platforms with people adding their own takes to the video. Now, it looks like Panic! At The Disco are jumping on board with their own “Mr. Sandman” nine-frame video featuring the one and only Beebo.
In the summer of 2018, Panic! At The Disco introduced the world to Beebo, the glorious puppet sharing likeness with Urie. He partied his way through an X-rated adventure in “Hey Look Ma, I Made It” and has won all of our hearts over ever since.
Beebo hit the road for a fortune-telling adventure on the Pray For The Wicked tour in early 2019 before making his big return in another video. Currently the fourth and final video for this album cycle, “Dancing’s Not A Crime” brought Beebo back for another wild night.
His screentime didn’t end there though as Beebo joined in on that viral TikTok trend. The post is appropriately captioned with, “What dreams (or nightmares) are made of.”
