Neon-pop band Cash Cash took the Myspace world by storm in 2008 with their sexually charged hit “Party In Your Bedroom” from their debut album, Take It To The Floor. This song was stuck on countless profile pages along with the likes of Family Force 5’s “Love Addict” and 3OH!3’s “PUNKBITCH.”
As the 2010s unfolded, Cash Cash changed from a vibrant, energetic pop act with a niche fanbase to a world-renowned DJ group. They’ve worked with artists such as Bebe Rexha, Christina Perri and Fitz And The Tantrums, who all appeared on the group’s 2016 album, Blood, Sweat & 3 Years. This year, they worked with Andy Grammer on the track “I Found You.”
Though the group have changed their sound over the years, their influence in the scene still reaches far. Return to the Myspace era and see if you can remember the lyrics to “Party In Your Bedroom” by Cash Cash.
More on Cash Cash
Like the rest of the industry, Cash Cash had to adjust their plans amid the coronavirus pandemic. The trio—brothers Alex and Jean Paul Makhlouf and Samuel Frisch—were in the midst of touring as the world began to shut down.
Having kicked off their End Of Winter Run tour in late February, they took to Instagram in mid-March to update fans on the future.
“Hope everyone is staying safe right now!” the post begins. “We’re back home and gonna be working on tons of new music during these times. And since we can’t be out on the road, we’ll be releasing a bunch of cool stuff in the next few days and weeks. Sending everyone good vibes and keep washing those hands!”
