QUIZ: Do you still remember “My First Kiss” by 3OH!3 featuring Kesha?

The dynamic duo of 3OH!3, comprising Sean Foreman and Nathaniel Motte, heated up 2010 with their now 10-year-old record Streets Of Gold, the follow-up to WANT.

A decade ago, the pair shared iconic tracks such as “Double Vision” and “Touchin On My.” They also dropped “My First Kiss” featuring Kesha when the pop singer was still rocking the dollar sign in her name, which climbed the rock charts upon its release. Throughout the lockdowns of 2020, 3OH!3 have continued to share these fan favorites via Emo Nite’s livestream Twitch dance parties.

More on 3OH!3 and Kesha

The release of “My First Kiss” wasn’t the first time 3OH!3 and Kesha crossed paths. Back in the spring of 2009, the pop singer joined the duo onstage at the AP tour. Out with the Maine, Family Force 5, Hit The Lights and A Rocket To The Moon, 3OH3! recruited Kesha for their set at Hollywood’s the Avalon.

Just a few months before the release of her breakout hit “Tik Tok,” Kesha hit the stage for the then unreleased “My First Kiss,” which you can see below.

Nearly a year later and just a few months before the duo officially dropped the song as the first from Streets Of Gold, they joined the pop artist on her track “Blah Blah Blah.” Released in early 2010, the single joined “Tik Tok” on Kesha’s debut full-length Animal.

The group later hit American Idol during season 9 to perform a squeaky clean version of “Blah Blah Blah” during the Top 12 episode. “My First Kiss” also got its TV debut with 3OH!3 taking it to Live! With Regis And Kelly sans Kesha.

Over the past decade, both the duo and vocalist have kept busy with 3OH!3 releasing Night Sports in 2016 and touring across the country. As for Kesha, she just dropped her fourth full-length High Road at the end of January.
