Bands are always influenced by their surroundings; they usually have at least one song that either subtly or bluntly acts as an ode to their roots. And our favorite Welsh punks Neck Deep are no exception.

The band gives a bittersweet tribute in “Can't Kick Up The Roots” — see if you remember the lyrics that describe their late teenage years. Don't mess up the words, and take the quiz below!

Also, in case you didn't know: Neck Deep are making an appearance at the 2017 APMAs! As newly added presenters, they will be onstage and announcing the winners of one of the Skullies. Frontman Ben Barlow himself is nominated for Best Vocalist at this year's show. Here's a full list of all the nominees and a FAQ page regarding the big event today.

Neck Deep's upcoming album— The Peace And The Panic— is dropping on August 18th via Hopeless Records. Preorder it here. They also just dropped a sweet montage music video for the opening track on the album.
