This new time-traveling show looks like a trippier female-led Stranger Things

Amazon Prime Video has shared the first trailer for their upcoming series, Paper Girls. In the video, the four protagonists are dragged from their regular delivery route and dropped 31 years in the future.

The trailer begins with Tiffany Quilkin (Camryn Jones), Erin Tieng (Riley Lai Nelet), Mac Coyle (Sofia Rosinsky) and KJ Brandman (Fina Strazza) meeting up in the early hours of the morning before starting their job delivering newspapers around town. All at once, the sky is consumed with pink light, and the group is propelled from 1988 to 2019. The girls don’t have a ton in common aside from their shared job, but that will almost certainly change as they work with each other and their adult counterparts to make it home safely.
