Juliet Simms heads to ‘Paradise City’ for ‘American Satan’ spinoff

It’s been nearly a year-and-a-half since American Satan announced its TV series spinoff. With news of Sleeping With Sirens frontman Kellin Quinn joining the cast over the summer, another familiar face is headed to Paradise City as Juliet Simms revealed her role.

Produced and directed by Sumerian Records founder Ash Avildsen, the American Satan film debuted Oct. 13, 2017. It starred Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack and Asking Alexandria guitarist Ben Bruce among others. The duo were among the members of the Relentless with Biersack’s vocals coming from Palaye Royale frontman Remington Leith.

The American Satan spinoff was first announced in June 2018 with the original cast teasing their return in September of that year. Bruce confirmed he would be returning with Biersack and former pro-wrestler Natalie Eva Marie signed on as a new addition in November 2018.

Twilight actor Booboo Stewart also returned after the original film appearing alongside new addition Bella Thorne in a behind-the-scenes photo in May. The late Cameron Boyce will also appear in the series marking one of his final roles before passing in July.

This week, Simms took to Instagram to share a behind-the-scenes image from the set. The vocalist stands alongside Starbenders frontwoman Kimi Shelter and drummer Emily Moon, fitness guru Paige Hathaway and PINK FLY bassist Renee Phoenix. Simms captions the photo with the Mavens hashtag, suggesting this might be the name of the onscreen band:
