“Just got out of surgery to remove my ruptured appendix, happy to report the procedure went very well and I should be back up on my feet in no time,” Biersack says in a tweet. “Thanks for all of your kindness & support. P.S., seeing all of the love you guys are showing for “The Promise” means the world to me!”

Details of Biersack’s surgery have not been made public at this time.

Earlier today, Biersack released the third single from his upcoming album The Ghost Of Ohio.

“The Promise,” which was referenced in the tweet above, is accompanied by a lyric video that was teased just a few short days before.

Biersack’s sophomore solo album, which will be released under the name Andy Black, will also be accompanied by The Ghost Of Ohio graphic novel.

Both The Ghost Of Ohio album and graphic novel are available for preorder now digitally and via physical copies. The two will be released on April 12.
