Andy Biersack shares recovery, tour update after appendix surgery

Black Veil BridesAndy Biersack gave fans on Twitter an update about his recovery after he had to get surgery to remove a ruptured appendix.

Biersack is set to head out on tour in just a few short days. He initially announced the procedure to his fans on Twitter as well.

“Just got out of surgery to remove my ruptured appendix, happy to report the procedure went very well and I should be back up on my feet in no time,” Biersack said in a tweet. “Thanks for all of your kindness & support. P.S., seeing all of the love you guys are showing for “The Promise” means the world to me!”

Now, he gave fans an update a few days after the surgery occurred. 

For those asking for updates regarding the tour & my health: I am doing everything as instructed by my doctors post surgery and I’m going to attempt to run the show this week in rehearsals. I will let everyone know how the process is going. I don’t want to risk further injury,” one tweet reads.

Before he announced the surgery on Friday, he released the third single from his upcoming album The Ghost Of Ohio.

“The Promise,” which was referenced in the tweet about his initial surgery, is accompanied by a lyric video that was teased just a few short days before.

Biersack’s sophomore solo album, which will be released under the name Andy Black, will also be accompanied by The Ghost Of Ohio graphic novel.

Both The Ghost Of Ohio album and graphic novel are available for preorder now digitally and via physical copies. Biersack will release the two on April 12.
