Andy Black drops out of festival, replaced by New Years Day

Black Veil Brides frontman Andy Biersack, also known as Andy Black, has pulled out of an upcoming festival in Australia.

Black was set to perform at Download Festival Australia in March, but had to pull out of the festival due to scheduling conflicts, but promised fans he would be back soon to make up for it.

“Australia, for those asking I wanted to clarify that while I unfortunately won’t be able to perform at Download in March, I WILL be heading your way on this upcoming record cycle and tour. I haven’t seen you guys since TSS and I can’t wait to come back!” Black wrote on Twitter.

Black’s spot has been filled by New Years Day, and it will be their first Australian show.

Download Festival is set to announce the final round of acts for the weekend festival next week, they teased on Facebook.

The festival takes place on two dates, one in Sydney on March 9 in Parramatta Park. The second is in Melbourne on March 11 at Flemington Racecourse. Grab tickets here.
