Here's what Apple's gold iPhone X looks like

iPhone fans might just have something special to look forward to. That's right—a gold iPhone X.

As Mashable reports, the Federal Communications Committee has shared several photos of what appears to be a gold-colored iPhone X, which has yet to be announced.

Mashable explains, though, that because the photos have been released, it's more likely that the color was canceled than that the color is still going to be released.

However, as previously reported, Apple is reportedly preparing to release three new iPhones later this year: the “largest iPhone ever,” an upgraded phone the same size as the current iPhone X and a less expensive model based on the iPhone 6.

Could this gold iPhone X still be coming? We'll just have to wait to find out.
