For touring musicians, life on the road can cause a strain on their relationships. Often, there's someone back home who misses them and whom they miss. Silverstein guitarist Paul Marc Rousseau got to experience the other side of that coin with a girl he missed while she was away.

“I wrote this song and recorded it as a voice note on my iPhone to send to her,” says Rousseau. “I wasn't used to being on the other end of that emotional exchange.”

Recently, Rosseau revisited the very place where he came up with “Arrivals” for this unique acoustic session. “I shot this video on the fire escape of the apartment I wrote the song in, across the street from Holy Oak- the coffee shop I reference in the song.”

“Arrivals” is the seventh track on Silverstein's new album This Is How The Wind Shiftswhich is available now via Hopeless Records.
