ROAM show you how to play “Flatline,” “Playing Fiction”

As you eagerly await the follow up to Great Heights & Nosedives, you may as well pick up a guitar and learn how to play some of your favorite ROAM riffs. In this APTV exclusive, Alex Costello and Sam Veness show you how to play “Flatline” and “Playing Fiction.”

Last month, ROAM joined the Wonder Years and Simple Creatures as the most recent additions to Download Festival 2019. Dinosaur Pile-up, Allusinlove, Queen Zee, Kvelertak, Hot Milk, Lost Society, Nova Twins, the Picturebooks, Graveyard, the Hu, Goodbye June, Vambo, Cloud and Kim Jennett rounded out the reveal.

The festival boasts heavyweight headliners such as SlipknotDef Leppard and Smashing Pumpkins, as well as some familiar names such as Halestorm and Beartooth. Download Festival hits Donington Park June 14-16. Check out the full lineup and grab your tickets here.

This wasn’t ROAM’s first visit with APTV. The band visited the offices of Alternative Press to share some of their many spooky stories. Spooky stories include the surprisingly creepy tale of the faint sound of trickling urine heard during an evening stroll near a haunted castle.

The ROAM boys also recalled a particularly chilling experience they had while touring with pop punk legends New Found Glory. That experience apparently moved a member to tears. They also shared an encounter with the haunting sound of someone running in an attic.

How much time did it take you to master these ROAM chords? Sound off in the comments below!
