Megosh, “Body Works” song premiere

Progressive post-hardcore quartet Megosh, one of AP’s 100 Bands You Need To Know, will release their brand new EP, Body Works, on April 1 through Revival Recordings (Shawn Milke of Alesana’s label). Today, the band are teaming up with AltPress to bring you the premiere of “Body Works,” the EP’s title track and first to be released. Give the song a listen, and tell us what you think.

“I would love to just sum up the meaning of the song by saying it's about promiscuous sex, however there's more to it than that!” says vocalist/guitarist Josh Grosscup. “We've all had someone from our past who strayed from the moral path and might have even dragged us down a little with them. In this case, the girl in this story takes advantage of a less promiscuous partner. The song showcases the hesitance, and guilt that follows.”

Pre-orders for Body Works will be available soon via Revival.

Megosh will unite with Alesana, Get Scared, Hearts & Hands and Farewell, My Love for the Decade Tour, a 27-date trek beginning today, March 7 in Raleigh, North Carolina and running through April 6 in Stanhope, New Jersey.
