Pyyramids-2013

Video Premiere: Pyyramids, "Animal" (OMG Everywhere nonprofit collaboration)

Los Angeles duo Pyyramid, which features Tim Nordwind from OK Go, recently paired up with nonprofit OMG Everywhere to film their new video for “Animal.” The organization, which hosts free arts workshops for kids, which allow them to work with fimmakers and musicians, have partnered with artists such as Daft Punk and Major Lazer and have done videos with 3OH!3, the Summer Set and more.

“Working with the kids at OMG was by far one of the coolest creative experiences I've ever had,” says Pyyramids' Drea Smith. “Their energy, enthusiasm and amazingly sophisticated ideas were so impressive. I love what they did with the song and how into it they were when we were filming. The projection idea is something I've always wanted to play with and I was pumped when we got to the camp and that was the concept. I'd only heard about the camp for the first time this summer, and I'm so glad to have been able to be a part of it.”

“Animal” is from the band's 2011 Human Beings EP. They released a full-length album, Brightest Darkest Day, earlier this year.
