Watch the Ghost Inside accept the award for Most Dedicated Fanbase at the 2016 APMAs

The Ghost Inside accept the award for “Most Dedicated Fanbase” at the 2016 Alternative Press Music Awards, fueled by Monster Energy in their first onstage appearance since the band's 2015 bus accident. 

Bassist Jim Riley and vocalist Jonathan Vigil shared the mic to thank a community of fans and members of the music industry for their positivity and support. 

“What finally got me to want to do this again was our fans,” explains Vigil after telling the audience he had been sure he was done with music entirely, and if not for them, he wouldn't have gotten back onstage. 

The band end their speech by dedicating the award to their bus driver and the driver of the semi in the crash who passed away.
