All Time Low on ten years as a band and their secret to success

All Time Low celebrate their 10th anniversary as a band and reflect on their achievements—the biggest of which seems to be their having stayed together so effortlessly in a world where not many bands can.

“Being a band in this day-and-age as the same four members is a big, big, big accomplishment,” says vocalist Alex Gaskarth.

They also discuss their drive to always continue achieving more.

“Every milestone we hit is more motivation,” says drummer Rian Dawson. “It’s more motivation to just keep growing.”

The secret to their success, bassist Zack Merrick points out, may lie within their relationship with one another.

“Over the years, we’ve gotten closer and closer, where some bands don’t do that,” he says.

“A lot of bands [we’ve toured with] get along, but that’s about it,” Dawson adds.
