Crown The Empire guess Andy Leo’s top three LPs, favorite song and lyric

Crown The Empire are incredibly talented…but drawing Star Wars characters isn’t one of their strong suits.

In APTV’s original game show, VOCAL REST, we put Andy Leo on vocal rest and lefts bandmates to guess answers to questions based on his drawings.

The band have recently surprised us with a mini cover of Lil Nas X’s “Old Town Road” in one of their shows during their co-headlining tour with We Came As Romans. The cover is a stripped-down, acoustic rendition of the song, with frontman Andy Leo and guitarist Brandon Hoover jamming out onstage.

In addition, Crown The Empire and We Came As Romans will also be joining the 2019 So What?! Music Fest to wrap up their co-headlining tour. The headliners for this year’s lineup will include Beartooth, Of Mice & Men, Parkway Drive and Killswitch Engage. Crown The Empire and We Came As Romans will play on the first date of the music festival.

Following their previous singles, “20/20” and “what i am,” the band recently dropped their third single, “Sudden Sky.” This is the band’s third single since their last full-length effort Retrograde in 2016.

Earlier last year, Leo took to Twitter and shared a photo of the band having the ultimate Friendsgiving in LA back in 2015. The tweet reveals the band ordering Chick-fil-a for their big dinner and invited their friends including Post Malone, who actually tried out for Crown The Empire when he was just 15 years old.

“Friendsgiving 2015. My first holiday season in LA and none of us could make turkey so I ordered chikfila nugs for the gang,” Leo posted to Twitter, along with a picture of the group.
