Heart Attack Man solve mystery behind Sublime shirts in high school

Every music lover has that one good song or album that’s ruined by a shitty time or person. For Heart Attack Man, music has been ruined by old bands, broken friendships, over-commercialization and the kids in high school who let their peers know they smoked weed through wearing Sublime t-shirts.

In this edition of APTV’s Ruined Music, the boys in Heart Attack Man are out for blood–pulling no punches in their disdain for Kiss, Red Hot Chili Peppers, Billy Joel’s “Piano Man” and more.

Earlier this year, the band put an orange beanie up for auction on Ebay where it received received over $100k worth of bids. They later removed the listing as frontman, Eric Egan, couldn’t find it in his heart to part with the beanie.

“I just wanted to update you all on my world famous beanie,” Egan says in the video. “I’ve been thinking about it a lot. I changed my mind. I don’t want to sell my beanie anymore. This is a lot of money that I’m walking away from, but you know what? There’s some things in life that you can’t put a price tag on, and my beanie is one of them.”
