30 Seconds To Mars reveal album details

Los Angeles rock outfit 30 Seconds To Mars have unveiled their plans for their upcoming full-length for Virgin Records. The band had been embroiled in an ugly legal dispute with the subsidary of EMI. The follow-up to 2005’s A Beautiful Life will be produced by Flood (U2, Nine Inch Nails) and released this fall.

Frontman Jared Leto had this to say:

"It’s great to finally move forward and focus on what’s most important to us all- the music. We are excited about starting over with the many talented people at Virgin/EMI, and to sharing our new music with the fans in the very near future. We will never forget the unrelenting support from all our friends, family, and fans around the world."

A press release described the upcoming album as "a collection of the thoughts and ideas that the band have experienced after spending several years on the road."
