Murder By Death to tour with William Elliott Whitman, J Roddy Walston And The Business; 7" seri

Murder By Death have unveiled their tour plans, as well as a new 7" series.

The mostly East Coast and Midwest tour will be supported by William Elliott Whitmore and J Roddy Walston And The Business.

As for the 7" series, the band will be trading covers with other artists. The first record in the series will find the band splitting sides with Whitmore, who MBD will cover on the A side, with Whitmore covering MBD on the flip-side. It will feature artwork from Drew James, who handled MBD’s 2003 effort, Who Will Survive And What Will Be Left Of Them?.

Murder By Death will be out in support of Red Of Tooth And Claw, released earlier this year on Vagrant. Whitmore most recently released Song Of The Blackbird in 2006 on Southern, while J Roddy Walston And The Business were responsible for 2007’s Hail Mega Boys on Southern Brethren.
