Panic At The Disco, Gym Class Heroes, the Offspring among "biggest flops" of 2008

Cleveland entertainment guide Metromix has named Panic At The Disco, Gym Class Heroes, the Offspring and Plain White Ts among the biggest commercial flops of 2008.

U.S. album sales in 2008 were down 15% from the previous year. The guide cites their "quasi-scientific number crunching" to come up with the 20 albums "that were the best (worst?) representation of the music industry’s dismal year."

Regarding Gym Class Heroes’ The Quilt, they rhetorically ask, "Was it the Daryl Hall cameo? The unconvincing collabs with The-Dream and Busta Rhymes? The incredibly un-gangsta title?"
