Travis McCoy and Katy Perry split

Celebrity gossip gushers Celebuzz are reporting that the relationship has dissolved between Gym Class Heroes’ Travis McCoy and Top 40 vixen Katy Perry after "a holiday in Mexico and tumultuous New Year’s Eve."

McCoy elaborated on the less-than-uplifting details in verse form on a recent blog. "We fight every night, now that’s not kosher. I reminisce with bliss of when we was closer," he says. "And wake up to be greeted by an argument again, You act like you’re ten…My friends always tell me how I’m lucky to possess the best looking girl in the whole U.S. It seems like just two years back when we were bonded and not pierced, but now I keep itchin’ to jet."

The news flies in the face of recent rumors that the two had been engaged.
