My Hero Is Me break up

Tragic Hero metalcore act My Hero Is Me have announced they’ll be throwing in the towel.

According to a lengthy statement made via their MySpace blog:

as of march 09, my hero is me is no more. this band has struggled with success and how much of it we were going to get for quite some time. signing to tragic hero records almost 3 years ago and being apart of the 1st generation bands signed to the label, made us believe that there was something about us in which not only WE felt was special and going somewhere. feeling like we were apart of a family that cared and wanted us to get to where we felt we could be was a blessing. sadly, this blessing started to become a nightmare through all of our rough times.
