The Flaming Lips Headline Earth Day On The National Mall

This Sunday, April 19, the Flaming Lips will be joined by moe. and Los Lobos for a free performance at the National Mall in Washington DC. The Earth Day Network, in partnership with Green Apple Festival Day, will be streaming video from 1 p.m. until 6 p.m. this Sunday via www.MySpace.com/GreenAppleFestival; www.GreenAppleFestival; and www.EarthDayTV.net. Actor Chevy Chase will emcee the event, which will also feature DJ Spooky, the Howard University Drummers and the Joy of Motion Dance Center’s teen hip hop company, Urban Impact

The Flaming Lips also scheduled a handful of shows scattered across the U.S.
